We did the 5 day tour and really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The service including the food were amazing. Also our guides Alexandra and Jessica were awesome!!

The 3 night 4 day trip was an amazing experience! Everything was planned out well and my dietary requirements were taken care of thoughtfully everyday. There was plenty of adventures and wildlife spotting opportunities as well as downtime each day to relax and enjoy being in nature.

From the off the whole experience was absolutely fantastic, I am so glad I chose to do it. Mike the person helping me to book was amazing he did his best to make it a memorable experience & it certainly was that. I would do it again in a heart beat.

El Tour de 4 dias/3 noches con Cuyabeno Wild Life Center estuvo una experiencia increible! Estabamos en el "Dolfin Lodge" que fue un lodge super comodo, con comida deliciosa a cada desayuno, almuerzo y cena! El servicio estuvo perfecto, muy amable y asi disfrutamos mucho de la experiencia en la Amazonia. Las actividades eran muy bien organizadas, tenemos tiempo por prepararnos y tambien descansar. Estar en el medio de la selva con animales y insectos salvajes, apprender de las plantas, de las tradiciones de las communidades, apprender a cocinar el yuca o el cacao, que bonitas experiencias! Recomiendo mucho "Elias" un guia muy talento que tiene un radar en sus orejas y ojos para escuchar y reconocer los animales, pero tambien "Edwin", nuestro piloto del barco. Ambos eran super amables, y conocen muy bien sus trabajos! Muchas gracias a ellos! Estaria interesante que notician en los detalles del tour que esta super dificil de ver a los animales salvajes...que viven lejos, alto en los arboles! Recomiendo de venir con binocularios o una super camara de calidad para observar de la mejor manera los animales. Tambien, tienen que saber que hay la temporada seca que no permite de ver a todos los animales que migran en las regiones con mas agua...de eso les recommiendo de visitar a la selva en temporada de lluvia.

I really enjoyed my stay at the lodge. The staff is lovely and facilities are all you need. It feels like home. The tours are great, thanks to the guides Miguel and Jorge. They make big efforts to give you a great authentic experience. The food is also great, particularly for such a remote place. The next time, I will stay longer than 5 days.

Our 3 night, 4 day trip to the Amazon was truly incredible! Cannot recommend Dolphin Lodge enough; the team there are so kind and hardworking, from the drivers of the boats, the kitchen staff, and of course the amazing guides. We were lucky to be guided by Esmerelda, Miguel and Victor. They are all so knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. We saw and did so much in our few days there - the logistics and organisation are fantastic. The food is delicious - you definitely won't go hungry! The groups are small - max. 10 - we had a mix of couples, friends and solo travellers.

We had such an amazing few days in the Amazon! I cannot recommend Dolphin Lodge enough. The guides (Miguel and Esmerelda) are so so knowledgeable and we were so looked after by them over the few days. The food is amazing and the owners and staff are so kind. The motor boat drivers also worked so hard to get us around safe and sound. Thank you all for such a unique and amazing experience.

I did 5 days and 4 nights at Cuyabeno Wildlife Center and it was incredible. Elias was a fantastic guide and we got to see a lot of wildlife that I would never ever be able to spot on my own. The food was fantastic and the rooms were very comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to come back and highly recommend it for anyone interested in seeing the Amazon.

Our trip to dolphin lodge was amazing! The lodge was extremely comfortable and the food was great. Our guide Alexa was so friendly and knowledgeable and ready to help with anything. The tour was planned to give us the best opportunity to see as much wildlife as possible within the short period we were there.

I had a great experience in the Dolphin Lodge. Seen many animals including monkeys, sloths, caimans and the pink river dolphins. Very good tourguide who knew a lot about the area and the trees and animals.

We had such an amazing time at the Cuyabeno wildlife centre, it went above all expectations. The food, the staff and the activities were amazing. The experience was very well organised and with the help of Mike everything ran smoothly. Our guide Elias was very knowledgeable about all the species of animals that we got the chance to see and could answer every question. I would 100% recommend and shall return in the future!

Like other reviewers before I must admit this experience is no other than absolutely fantastic. The lodge, the isolation in the jungle, the guide Elias, the boatsman, the kitchenstaff, everything simply amazing! Although it was dry season we took the boat every day for tours, the boat was silent! And the nightwalks are very special too. Highly recommended to go here for your own little 5-day retreat without wifi, I loved it.

Our trip was one of the best times of our life. We had a group of 9 and no one was ever left out. Elias was such a good guide he was so knowledgeable I don’t think there was a single question he couldn’t answer. He could spot animals that were so well camouflaged that even after he pointed them out it took us all a few minutes to see what he could see, which meant we saw a lot more animals than we otherwise would have noticed. Mike who organises the trip made sure everything ran so smoothly and the booking process was so quick and smooth and immediate quick response to any questions. Viviana who greeted us as we arrived in the main area was very welcoming and accommodating. The kitchen staff were great, I loved the different juices everyday from fruits I’ve never heard of before they was so good I miss them. The starters, main courses and deserts were delicious and plenty of it. They accommodated to everyone’s needs and made the dishes exciting. Our room was the twin room and the beds were really comfy and came with a mosquito net and the shower was nice and hot. Alexandra was another guide who we got the boat back with and she was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Finally the boat driver did a great job considering the drought the Amazon was having at the time we was there, he didn’t go too fast which meant the boat wasn’t noisy either so that we had an opportunity to spot more wildlife. I hope to come back during rainy season to see some different animals next time and I would recommend this company to anyone.

We had a wonderful time here. The rooms are rustic and (like all the lodges) the water in the bathrooms is pumped straight out of the river. The service and food was fantastic, and the staff worked hard to ensure that we enjoyed our experience. I appreciated that they were able to accommodate with vegan food options.

Just returned from a 5 day experience at Cuyabeno Dolphin Lodge. Everything was fantastic and I highly recommend that you book Dolphin Lodge! The staff were amazing, Elias our guide had excellent english and knowledge of wildlife in the area - everything was organised very well - our rooms were huge and even had hot showers (not that you needed the hot water in the humid reserve!) - The food was a huge surprise - excellent variety and flavours - lots of local and international food and plenty of it - we were never hungry! The communication pre booking with Mike was also fantastic - he answered all the questions I had via whatsapp. As for the animals! Cuyabeno is specially - its not overally touristed and ruined because of it. The animals are truly wild and this makes the experiece special. We saw 4 types of Monkeys, a lot of birds - including Toucan, Maccaw, Woodpecker,giant Heron and beautiful Pygmy Kingfisher, Otters, a sloth, a very sweet pet Capybara on our visit to the local village, plenty of Caiman, spiders, frogs, scorpion, insects! Overall - a highlight of our 6 months in South America. You will not regret booking Dolphin Lodge/Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve.

I recently spent four days in this incredible destination, and I can’t recommend it enough! Our guides were outstanding. Their knowledge of the local flora and fauna was impressive, and they had a knack for spotting wildlife that we would have missed on our own. We saw at least 20 different bird species including plenty of toucans, macaws, and Amazonian kingfisher - and we were also lucky to spot Nyctibius grandis and an harpia eagle. The variety of activities was a highlight, with multiple trips including boat rides, canoeing, day and night hikes, as well as morning and sunset tours. Each experience offered something unique and allowed us to immerse ourselves in the stunning environment. Our accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. The food was a delightful surprise, with a different menu every day that showcased local flavors. I particularly appreciated the community tour, which demonstrated a responsible approach to tourism and highlighted the positive relationships with local residents. Four days here flew by, and I wouldn’t have wanted to stay any shorter. This experience truly deserves five stars, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an enriching adventure in nature!

I was very excited to visit Cuyabeno and Dolphin Lodge and it did not disappoint! In fact, the experience surpassed my expectations! There were so many memorable experiences over my five days there, it is difficult to mention just a few. Victor was an incredible guide whose passion for the area and its wildlife was obvious with every activity! His knowledge and respect for the flora and fauna of the region just amazed me every day and allowed me to appreciate its beauty to its fullest! And Victor’s attention and thoughtfulness towards our group, including his concern for our safety, never faltered. He had my complete trust and he gave me confidence to accomplish things I never thought I’d do! The rest of the staff at Dolphin Lodge was always so welcoming and helpful and every meal was so delicious. I appreciated their attention to details, their willingness to answer questions and their kindness. If I had to choose some highlights, they would definitely be the sightings of the pink dolphins and the monkeys, and our nighttime boat and walking tours, where Victor demonstrated his incredible talent for finding wildlife in the dark! It was definitely a life/changing experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

We had the best 4 days and 3 nights at Cuyabeno Wildlife Centre/ Dolphin Lodge. Everything was seamless from the point we were met at Cuyabeno Bridge. The lodge is extremely comfortable considering it's location. The food was AMAZING and very plentiful. Our guide Miguel was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. All lodge staff were fantastic and friendly too. We saw an abundance of birds, insects and caiman, some monkeys and dolphins!! Would recommend 100%. 🙂

We had a wonderful honeymoon in Cuyabeno thanks to all the staff at Cuyabeno Dolphin Lodge. We were able to experience and admire the jungle in all its splendor. Our guide Victor was excellent, thanks to his vast experience we were able to see a number of animals and learn about them and their habitat; he always made sure we had an unforgettable experience. The staff was always friendly and the food was delicious. We would definitely come back for another excursion!

We have spend 4 days/3 nights at Pink Dolphin Lodge. The whole booking process through Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve was very smooth, communication was great from the beginning. The lodge is in a great location with nice sitting areas outside. Food was good and fresh every day. The rooms were pretty basic and looked a little bit more rustic than on the pictures. Our guide Victor was great. He had a lot of knowledge about all the different plants and animals in the jungle. He spotted so many animals for us. The activities were fun and we learned a lot about the jungle. We would come again! Thanks to the whole team!

We had the most amazing experience being in the Amazon at the Cuyabeno Dolphin Lodge. We saw so much wildlife (monkeys, Spiders, Scorpions, Caimen and the highlight a big anaconda) The staff was amazing, the food was very good and also the rooms were nice. Especially our guide Fernando was the best! He has so much experience in the jungle and wildlife. We would definitely book this tour again!

We did the 5-Day Canoe Paddle Paradise trip along the Aguas Negras River. Our local team guided us over and under obstacles along the river, ran camp operations seamlessly and the food was delicious...all of it without any trace left behind. Night walks through the rainforest under an unpolluted sky, camping under the canopy, and watching and learning about numerous creatures during day paddling....Thanks everyone for an experience that truly immerses you!

Our guide Viktor shared a lot of knowledge with us during the tours and answered every our questions. the four days where really good organiced, the food was amazing also really good options for vegetarians! i can absolutly recommend the cuyabeno wildlife center!

We did the 5-Day Canoe Paddle Paradise, where we spent 4 days in the Amazon in a very intimate and very eco-friendly way: we were paddling a lot. It was so much fun with our crew who helped to get over and under trees, cooked delicious food and you could feel how much they enjoy being out with us and able to show us their world. Our guide Diego was very knowlegdeable, explained the plants and the birds and showed us the jungle by day and night. Most impressing for me was listening to the noises during the night! If you are up for the real Amazon experience, this is the trip you should definitely consider!

We had a beautiful experience in the Cuyabeno forest with Miguel, a very knowledgeable guide who explained us a lot of things, helped to spot animals and make us discover the world of the rainforest. The staff is kind and helpful, and we tasted some delicious typical dishes. The organization of our 3D2N escape was perfect thanks to Micheal, who also organized our round trip transfer from Quito. We recommend this lodge to everyone who wants to live an authentic experience in the pristine forest of Ecuador.
