It was so refreshing to have a guide as excited as I was to see a sloth. He was so enthusiastic to share his country and culture with us and it was obvious that us having a good time brought him genuine joy. As a biologist myself I had a lot of knowledge about the Amazon and its wildlife but Miguel\u2019s knowledge was insane. I\u2019ve spent my whole life reading about these animals and I still learnt a lot from Miguel. Out guide was Jorge and he was so wise and knowledgeable about the forest and all the animals. The food was really good and changes everyday which was nice, the beds were comfy but expect to see some bugs (cause it\u2019s the amazon duh) but overall we left with only a 1-5 bug bites. Make sure to wear long pants and long sleeves to avoid mosquitos and you will be fine. The hikes can be challenging but in a wonderful way. The community visit is great but remember to bring lots of cash. Note you can only pay your bar tab with cash and after paying 20 bucks each for the Shamman we ran low.  Overall we would recommend this to anyone !!! I went with the same crew both times: Charlie (AKA Carlos) as guide, Olmedo as Captain, and Beto as Cook. I have visited 12 different countries and photographed wildlife in all of them, and this is one of the most amazing teams I have ever worked with!\n\nCharlie knows the sound of every bird in the jungle, he will make sure that you don\u2019t miss a single exciting discovery along the way. He will prioritize the rarity of the sighting and draw your attention to the correct place when there are multiple sightings at once. He has experience as a photographer and he will make sure you get the perfect angle with the best view. He knows where the mammals, amphibians, insects, and reptiles are and gives you the best chance to see them. He has great English speaking skills, and he will help you keep track of all of things you see along the way. If you ask to see something specifically he will give you the best chances to see it!\n\nOlmedo is a phenomenal riverboat captain! His knowledge of the river system and how to read the waters and find safe passage are super human! He navigated us effortlessly through areas that I was sure were impassable. He also knows and loves the wildlife and spots many creatures that would otherwise go unnoticed. Having his experience and skills make an otherwise daunting journey feel safe and sure.\n\nBeto is a magician! He can conjure delicious food from the ether in even the most rudimentary jungle kitchen. We enjoyed incredible meals 3 times a day that gave us the energy to go out and explore more! He always has a smile on his face and he enjoys the wildlife and helps spot animals too! Food wise you will be spoiled, great food every day with local ingredients, vegetarian options available. Program wise there is so much to do, we skipped out on a few evening activities to rest but if you want you can do things from waking up until the moment you go to bed. <br \/>\r\nAnd the guides are amazing, Elias took so good care of us, his enthusiasm was contagious and you can really see they love the jungle and treat it with care. And the jungle is of course full with animals and nature and the guides are just experts at finding it and pointing it out, being very patient with us<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nThank you so much for this Out guide was Jorge and he was so wise and knowledgeable about the forest and all the animals. The food was really good and changes everyday which was nice, the beds were comfy but expect to see some bugs (cause it\u2019s the amazon duh) but overall we left with only a 1-5 bug bites. Make sure to wear long pants and long sleeves to avoid mosquitos and you will be fine. The hikes can be challenging but in a wonderful way. The community visit is great but remember to bring lots of cash. Note you can only pay your bar tab with cash and after paying 20 bucks each for the Shamman we ran low.  Overall we would recommend this to anyone !!! I went with the same crew both times: Charlie (AKA Carlos) as guide, Olmedo as Captain, and Beto as Cook. I have visited 12 different countries and photographed wildlife in all of them, and this is one of the most amazing teams I have ever worked with!\n\nCharlie knows the sound of every bird in the jungle, he will make sure that you don\u2019t miss a single exciting discovery along the way. He will prioritize the rarity of the sighting and draw your attention to the correct place when there are multiple sightings at once. He has experience as a photographer and he will make sure you get the perfect angle with the best view. He knows where the mammals, amphibians, insects, and reptiles are and gives you the best chance to see them. He has great English speaking skills, and he will help you keep track of all of things you see along the way. If you ask to see something specifically he will give you the best chances to see it!\n\nOlmedo is a phenomenal riverboat captain! His knowledge of the river system and how to read the waters and find safe passage are super human! He navigated us effortlessly through areas that I was sure were impassable. He also knows and loves the wildlife and spots many creatures that would otherwise go unnoticed. Having his experience and skills make an otherwise daunting journey feel safe and sure.\n\nBeto is a magician! He can conjure delicious food from the ether in even the most rudimentary jungle kitchen. We enjoyed incredible meals 3 times a day that gave us the energy to go out and explore more! He always has a smile on his face and he enjoys the wildlife and helps spot animals too! You won\u2019t have any worries about food with Beto around!\n\nMike will most likely be the one helping you with your booking, and he is incredible too! He will spell out every detail and make sure all of the logistics are taken care of!
